As you can guess from the name, the inspiration behind this project comes from the world of beetles.

The Beetle armchair reinterprets some of the characteristics that distinguish these creatures.
The exoskeleton in particular, the characteristic “armor” that structures, covers and protects these insects.
The shapes, the sections, the subdivisions of the shell, rigid externally and internally coupled with soft cushions, are inspired by that characteristic structure.
Thus the subdivision of this into abdomen, thorax and head become seat, backrest and headrest.

The thin metal legs that support the shells evoke the highly effective limbs and joints of these fascinating and beautiful creatures.

The large and soft padding of the cushions give the armchair a very welcoming aspect that invites you to sit down and enjoy a moment of relaxation.
